The Steps Involved in Getting Your Kitchen Resprayed
Are you considering a kitchen respray project? If so, you may be wondering about the amount of time that would be needed to complete the job. Depending on the professionals that you choose for the execution, having a kitchen resprayed can require just a short period of time.
At All Surface Respray, we do our best to give clients access to convenient and practical services. Here are the steps that will need to be undertaken in order to have all of the items in the kitchen resprayed and looking like new.
We usually require three to four days in order to complete a kitchen respray project. The amount of time will depend on the size of the kitchen and the complexity of having the cabinets prepared.
Over the first two days, we’ll have the door facings removed and cleaned. This prep work is of uttermost importance for getting a quality outcome. Since the facings are most visible, they will need to be handled carefully. We don’t spare effort when it comes to doing the necessary prep work.
On the third day, we’ll have the bodies of all cabinets cleaned, sanded and prepared for the respraying.
This process will require 24 hours to complete. The surfaces will also be masked. We believe the step is necessary to reduce the downtime and give our customers a chance to begin using the kitchen immediately after we’re done.
The third or fourth day is the final one. During this day, the doors of the cabinets will be refitted. If you’d like to, we can have new handles installed. Such a small detail can have a profound impact on the appearance of the cabinets.
We use a specialised type of paint that leaves a smooth finish. Since the paint is air-sprayed on the cabinets, there will be no streaks or missed spots. The incredible smoothness results in a quality outcome and increases the longevity of the paint.
